60/2 Spun Silk Yarn Undyed 50 Yards
This undyed 60/2 spun silk yarn is natural in color which is similar to a winter white. It has two (non-divisible) plies that are twisted tightly together. The second image shows examples of 20/2 spun silk, 60/2 spun silk, DMC cotton floss, and 10/2 perle cotton. As you can see, the 60/2 spun silk is very close in thickness to one of the divisible plies of the DMC 6-ply cotton embroidery floss. You can dye or paint this spun silk yarn or use it as is for embroidery, applique and other fine hand needlework projects.
I have hand wound 50 continuous yards of the silk yarn onto a paper bobbin, and I photographed it in natural light without flash. If you would like a different amount of the yarn, please contact me.
