50 Yards of Undyed Spun Silk 20/2 Yarn
The color of this undyed spun silk yarn is natural and fairly similar to a winter white. It is a lace weight, two (non-divisible) ply spun silk yarn you can dye, paint or use as is. It's wonderful for embroidery, applique and other fine hand needlework projects.
The second image shows the thickness of this silk compared to Perle cotton (size 10) and DMC 6-ply cotton embroidery floss. To give you some idea of what this spun silk looks like once it has been dyed, I've included an image showing some of this yarn I've hand dyed in a goldenrod color.
I have hand wound 50 continuous yards of the silk yarn onto a 90-lb., acid-free paper bobbin. I photographed the yarn in natural light without flash.
I have also listed this yarn in 100-yard and 20-yard quantities. If you would like a different amount, pleast contact me.
